Deontay Wilder, the "Bronze Bomber" has made plenty of noise about wanting to step up his competition after winning his first 30 pro fights via knockout. He has talked quite a bit about British heavyweight Tyson Fury, and claimed that Fury is ducking him. Earlier this month Fury fired back with a direct tirade.

"Maybe if Deontay Wilder grows a pair of balls I might fight him as well. It's more to do with Richard Schaefer, he's the brains behind it all. He keeps saying my name and saying he's offered me this and that but there's never been anything in writing," Fury said.

"There are a lot of fighters out there who are pretend boxers and fighters and who really don't want to fight. I'll mention no names - Wladimir Klitschko, David Haye, Deontay Wilder."

Many of the claims that Fury "doesn't want to fight" are made because he literally hasn't fought since last March, when he defeated Steve Cunningham. However, he was scheduled to take on David Haye in September before a shoulder injury shelved him. Now, Fury is planning on fighting three times this year, with his eye on a chance at Wladimir Klitschko.

There is no doubting that the David Haye situation knocked us back but you just have to get the show back on the road and start fighting again," Fury said. "It's a case of just rolling on and now I have a great chance to make up for all of that lost time because I really do want that world title."

To get back rolling, he's set to fight in February against an unnamed opponent. That opponent could potentially still be Wilder, although judging from Fury's remarks it is highly unlikely.

"It's up to the promoters to stop talking bull----t, get the checkbooks out and starting putting zeroes on them because if I am to get these big fights then these opponents need paying," Fury said. "If they're going to get beaten by me they need paying as well, because no one's going to put a 30-0 record on the line or an undefeated record for little money because they know they can't beat me. It's all about dollars."
