Portland raced past San Antonio in their first meeting, but head coach Terry Stotts is very far from being overconfident.

"Right now, it's about San Antonio and they've won six in a row and have the best record in the league or close to it -- so the road trip is challenging, but like anything else, you can't look at the whole thing," Stotts said. "If you're going to read a 2,000 page book, you can't look at the whole book. You've got to take the first chapter."

While Tony Parker is the straw stirring San Antonio's drink, their aging Big Three is still performing at a high level. "(Parker) pulled us through it again," coach Gregg Popovich said after staving off a game Utah Jazz squad. "All three (Parker, Duncan and Ginobili) of those guys did a great job, but then in the fourth Tony saved it for us, really."

Those veterans may have a difficult time with Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge though, who is playing at a career-best level and scored nine consecutive points late in the Blazers' most recent win. "He knew it was winning time and I just felt like you could see him with the determination of making a play at the rim," Stotts said.

Aldridge has 22 double-doubles for the season, and leads Portland in both points per game (23.8) and rebounds per game (11.2).
