RED WINGS vs RANGERS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Madison Square Garden, New York

Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the Detroit Red Wings (20-16-10, 50 points) and New York Rangers (24-21-3, 51 points) faceoff live from Madison Square Garden in New York City for the second of three meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. Detroit fans can hear all of the action on 97.1 The Ticket while New York fans can do the same on Bloomberg Radio 1130.

Detroit enters the final game of a five-game road trip with a 2-2-0 record through it thus far while New York had a three-game winning streak snapped last time out but plays 12 of its next 13 games in New York. The first time these two teams met, the Rangers topped the Red Wings 3-2 in overtime in Detroit on Oct. 26.

The Rangers are coming off of a 2-1 loss at the hands of the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday.

"We had a lot of chances to get the equalizer throughout the game. We just don't find it," captain Ryan Callahan said via NHL.com. "No matter how good a goalie plays, you have to look at yourself and find a way you could have done something better."

The Red Wings suffered a 1-0 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday and goalie Jimmy Howard was sidelined with a hip flexor injury but appears to be coming back into the lineup tonight.

"More so than anything the muscle itself just felt really fatigued, felt it needed a bit of a break," Howard said Wednesday per NHL.com. "Better to take one night off than to go out there and cause further harm and be out 2-3 weeks."

Howard is 8-10-8 with a 2.67 GAA and a .913 save percentage this season. He'll be opposed by Henrik Lundqvist, who is 15-17-3 with a 2.66 GAA and a .911 save percentage.

Henrik Zetterberg leads the Red Wings with 14 goals and 22 assists for 36 points while the team will miss two of its top scorers with Pavel Datsyuk (15-17-32, lower-body) and Daniel Alfredsson (11-19-30, back spasms) sidelined.

Brad Richards has a six-game point streak going and leads the Rangers with 35 points off of 12 goals and 23 assists while Mats Zuccarello has 11 tallies and 22 helpers for 33 points and Chris Kreider has lit the lamp 12 times and added 15 assists for 27 points.

The Red Wings look to close out their road trip on a high note while the Rangers hope to start building on a new winning streak when the puck drops tonight at Madison Square Garden in New York.
