For what it's worth, Lamar Odom pronounces himself completely healthy and totally ready to stage a NBA comeback.
Now a free agent, the 34-year-old veteran forward recently told HollywoodLife.com that whatever issues he may have had in the past are now firmly behind him, namely his rumored hardcore drug addiction.
Speaking at this week's Golden Globes Awards after party, Odom added he remains committed to his self-proclaimed mission of rejoining the L.A. Clippers at some point this NBA season. Odom, who recently met with Clippers coach Doc Rivers for an extensive feel-out meeting, spent last season with the team but fell out of favor over the summer amid reports of sobriety issues.
HollywoodLife also reports Odom seems to have reconciled himself with his split from reality TV wife of four years Khloe Kardashian. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star formally filed for divorce on Dec. 13 citing irreconcilable differences.
Meanwhile, the Clippers have had to face their own adversity of late with All-Star guard Chris Paul being sidelined with a shoulder injury. Not to worry, Odom assured HollywoodLife, guaranteeing the website "the Clips are a lock to win the NBA championship if they pick him up."
