It has been rumored for over a month that WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper will be involved with each other in some capacity at WWE WrestleMania XXX at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, and now that Hogan is expected to sign a deal any day now the WWE is starting to finalize its plans for the big event with the possibility of turning CM Punk heel.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the WWE is planning on inducting the main event of WrestleMania I into the Hall of Fame this year. The main event in 1985 pitted Hogan with Mr. T to take on Piper and "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff in a tag team match that headlined the biggest wrestling card of all-time up to that point and put WrestleMania on the map.

The report indicates that the WWE wants Hogan, Piper, Mr. T and Orndorff to be involved in headlining the Hall of Fame ceremony on April 5 at the New Orleans Arena on the night before WrestleMania XXX because the WWE is preparing to enshrine the match into its Hall of Fame at the ceremony. If this happens, it will be the first match to ever be included in the Hall of Fame.

Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka and "Cowboy" Bob Orton may be involved as well since Snuka led Hogan and Mr. T to the ring as their cornerman while Orton did the same for Piper and Orndorff. The match would join The Ultimate Warrior as the top headliners for the 2014 Hall of Fame.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the WWE has been turned down by Mr. T in the past but the two sides are in negotiations to make it happen. If this match is inducted, Hogan, Piper, Orndorff, Orton and Snuka will join Ric Flair as the only two-time Hall of Famers since they've all been inducted in the Hall of Fame individually already. Flair was inducted by himself and along with the Four Horseman.

Along with the possible induction on April 5, the WWE has reportedly been looking to have Hogan and Piper involved in some capacity on the actual WrestleMania card and it's still possible that something will happen.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Piper pitched the WWE the idea of having him align himself with a heel to take on Hogan and John Cena in a tag team match. The report indicates that Piper wanted the WWE to turn Punk heel so that they could team up, but it's doubtful the WWE will turn Punk as he is set to face Triple H in the blow off of the Punk vs. The Authority angle at WrestleMania.

It's unknown what will happen down the line, but the WWE is trying to make Hogan and Piper a big part of WrestleMania weekend.
