A new match for the WWE Royal Rumble event on Jan. 26 from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh pitting Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt against each other in a one-on-one match is highly expected to happen at the event after the storyline between them took a turn at the end of Monday Night RAW.

The WWE put an end to the story arc that saw Bryan join the Wyatt Family by having Bryan attack Wyatt in a steel cage and take off his Wyatt Family gear to reveal his usual trunks while Erick Rowan and Luke Harper were both locked out of the cage.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the speculation now is that the WWE will likely announce a Bryan and Wyatt match for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. It is expected that the announcement will either be made at Tuesday night's SmackDown tapings, sometime this week via the WWE App and WWE.com or likely at next week's Monday Night RAW.

If the match between Bryan and Wyatt is indeed added to the card, it joins the 30-man over-the-top-rope Royal Rumble match with the winner going on to WrestleMania XXX to face the champion, Randy Orton vs. John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and The Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar in a one-on-one match to round out the card.

It has been reported that as usual the WWE is looking for some surprise entrants to participate in the 2014 Royal Rumble match and one such name included has been "Y2J" Chris Jericho, who recently wrapped up a tour with his band Fozzy and could be available to participate in the Royal Rumble.

The Winnipeg Sun in Canada had sent out an advertisement for a WWE Live Tour event coming there on March 8 that hyped Jericho as returning--though "Y2J" has denied a comeback on Twitter and has been adamant about it.

The ad read: "Chris Jericho is bringing the WWE to Winnipeg. The World Tour is coming to MTS Centre March 7. Other stars coming to Winnipeg include CM Punk, Big Show, R-Truth, The Miz and Daniel Bryan. Tickets will be available on wwe.com and Ticketmaster, but are not yet for sale."

Wrestlingheadlines.com reported that on top of the newspaper ads, there were also digital ads in elevators in Toronto with Jericho's picture on them saying that Jericho is bringing the WWE back to Winnipeg as well. F4WOnline reported that the WWE viewed the ads as a mistake and want the paper to run a correction on it, but it's unknown if that's the truth or a cover up.

Jericho, who returned at the 2013 Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant at No.2, said he will not be returning and he hyped up Fozzy's future on Instagram.

"Trust me when I tell you the songs we've written for this album are like nothing we've ever done before ...and are going to BLOW YOU AWAY!! So excited!! Stay tuned for more info about the album and upcoming live dates.... #2014 #theyearofthefozz #lightsgoout #doyouwannastartawar #fozzy," he wrote on Instagram.

It remains to be seen if Jericho will return, but as the Jan. 26 Royal Rumble draws closer, rumors about the show continue to increase.
