Calgary has lost seven of its last eight games while Carolina enters play looking to avoid dropping back-to-back games. The first time these two teams met, the Flames topped the Hurricanes 2-1 in overtime in Calgary on Dec. 12.

The Hurricanes lost a contest with Anton Khudobin between the pipes for the first time this season in a 3-0 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday.

"His demeanor after, he wasn't happy with a couple [of goals]. I think he wished he had those back," coach Kirk Muller said via NHL.com. "But he's been playing well. After those first couple goals, he settled down and got going, and later on in the game he got better and better. I don't think it's going to affect him. I think he's focused and ready to get going again."

Khudobin may get his sixth straight start tonight and is 6-1-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage. Karri Ramo is likely to start for Calgary and is 7-8-3 with a 2.88 GAA and a .900 save percentage this season.

The Flames are coming off of a 2-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday.

"We gotta score goals to win games. I think three is the magic number," Mike Cammalleri said per NHL.com. "I think three is the number -- we've talked about it before -- that usually wins in this league. If we scored three we would have won [Saturday]. I guess one is a start, but it's not good enough."

Cammalleri is second on Calgary in scoring with 21 points off of 13 goals and eight assists while Jiri Hudler leads the team with 36 points off of 12 tallies and 24 helpers and Sean Monahan is third on the team with 18 points while lighting the lamp five times and adding 13 assists.

Jeff Skinner has six goals in his last seven games for the Hurricanes and is tied with Eric Staal for the team lead with 35 points off of 21 markers and 14 helpers. Staal (lower-body) is expected to return Monday and also has 35 points while finding the twine 10 times and adding 25 helpers. Jordan Staal (10 goals, 14 assists) and Andrej Sekera (seven goals, 17 assists) each have 24 points.

The Flames look to halt a rough stretch while the Hurricanes try and avoid back-to-back losses when the puck drops at the PNC Arena tonight in North Carolina.
