Philadelphia Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading up to a conviction of the people responsible for burglarizing his home and stealing at least $250,000 in cash and merchandise.

According to ESPN. Jackson's South Philly home was recently raider while he was away vacationing in Miami. The website reports one safe was stolen and at least two others were cracked open during the heist.

Among the items also reported stolen was a silver, 9mm handgun. Police sources added the bulk of the theft involved merchandise and very little cash was taken.

ESPN reports the theft has left the star wideout quite upset and that there were no signs of forced entry to the home. Sources add Jackson's mother discovered the burglary on sometime Saturday morning and told police that some of Jackson's friends had access to the house.

Jackson was the Eagles' leading receiver this season with 82 catches for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns. He signed a five-year, $51 million contract before the 2012 season, but already this offseason has expressed an interest in reworking the deal because he now feels he is underpaid.
