Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the Toronto Maple Leafs (21-19-5, 47 points) and Washington Capitals (21-16-6, 48 points) skate against each other at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. for the second of three meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. Toronto fans can hear all of the action on TSN 1050 while Washington fans can do the same on WFED 1500.

Toronto has lost three straight games since their 2014 Winter Classic win on New Year's Day while Washington enters play having lost six of its last eight games. The first time these two teams met, the Maple Leafs topped the Capitals 2-1 in a shootout in Toronto on Nov. 23.

The Capitals snapped a four-game losing streak with Eric Fehr's two goals propelling them to a 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.

"It wasn't the prettiest way to win," Fehr said via NHL.com. "But scoring in the last minute - the team really rallied and hopefully we can carry the momentum forward."

The Maple Leafs have a quick turnaround after being dominated in a 6-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday.

"Right now we are getting a performance that isn't anywhere close to what is required to give ourselves success," coach Randy Carlyle said per NHL.com. "Our goaltenders are strung out and left hanging high and dry from the quality scoring chances, and they are coming from that critical area. We can't continue to give those chances up."

Phil Kessel has paced the Leafs with 38 points off of 20 goals and 18 assists while James van Riemsdyk has found the back of the net 15 times and adding 16 helpers for 31 points and Mason Raymond has lit the lamp 12 times and added 16 assists for 28 points.

Nicklas Backstrom leads the Capitals with 47 points off of 10 goals and 37 assists while Alex Ovechkin has an NHL-best 31 tallies and 13 helpers for 44 points and Mikhail Grabovski has found the twine 12 times and added 19 assists for 31 points.

Braden Holtby is likely to start for Washington and is 13-11-2 with a 3.08 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage while Jonathan Bernier is probable to start for Toronto and is 13-13-4 with a 2.58 GAA and a .926 save percentage.
