Dennis Rodman North Korea Interview Meltdown [VIDEO]: Rodman Screams At CNN Anchor About Kenneth Bae And Kim Jong Un

Dennis Rodman visited North Korea to play basketball for supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un's birthday and made an appearance via satellite on a CNN program, where he ended up screaming and ranting at the anchor.

According to Deadspin.com, during the interview, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo asked Rodman--who has a well-documented close relationship with Kim--about Kenneth Bae, who is an American that is imprisoned in North Korea on vague charges, and Rodman flipped out. Cuomo asked if Rodman would use his close relationship with Kim to push a request for Bae's release.

Rodman then exploded.

"The one thing about politics, Kenneth Bae did one thing. If you understand - if you understand what Kenneth Bae did," Rodman said in the video on CNN. "Do you understand what he did? In this country?"

Cuomo told Rodman that he wasn't sure what Bae did since the charges are vague and even asked Rodman what he did while saying, "you tell me."

"You tell me," Rodman retorted in the video. "You tell me. Why is he held captive?"

Rodman then went on an incoherent rant on Cuomo and screamed about sacrifice while accusing Cuomo of not having anything at stake. Rodman, who was smoking a cigar during the interview and didn't seem to make a whole lot of sense throughout it, then said that he didn't give a "rats a--" what Cuomo and CNN thought.

Former NBA star Charles Smith then took a calmer approach and explained to Cuomo that Rodman had a "non-political" stance about the situation. Rodman yelled at Cuomo and ranted for about two minutes before Smith began to try and intervene.

Rodman also pointed to his friendship with Kim elsewhere in the interview.

"I love my friend," Rodman said in the interview. "[Kim] is my friend."
