Due to Tuesday being New Year's Eve, the WWE had to change its production schedule for the first SmackDown that will air in 2014 as the company taped the show Sunday night in Washington, D.C. which led to a rare occurrence of the Friday night show being taped before Monday's live RAW. Due to SmackDown being taped before RAW but airing after it, some spoilers for tonight's show have been revealed including Brock Lesnar's return.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Big E Langston cut a promo on the SmackDown tapings and discussed Lesnar attacking Mark Henry on tonight's episode of RAW in Richmond, Va. which means "The Next Big Thing" will return on tonight's program and attack Henry.

According to the report, Henry is set to challenge Lesnar on tonight's edition of RAW, and Lesnar will respond and beat him down. Langston discussed it on a backstage segment with Renee Young on WWE's SmackDown taping Sunday night before he was interrupted and challenged to a match by Curtis Axel, who he defeated with The Big Ending later on in the night.

Langston was also seen with the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the SmackDown episode, which means that on tonight's RAW he will retain in his match against Fandango. Fandango earned the right to face Langston as the No.1 contender since he defeated Dolph Ziggler on the special holiday edition of RAW last Monday in a Present on a Pole match.

Lesnar is rumored to take on the Undertaker and his undefeated streak at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on April 6, but it seems as though he will first go through a program with Henry, possibly leading to a match at the Royal Rumble. The Undertaker usually doesn't return to television until the buildup for WrestleMania is in full force.

It remains to be seen what else will happen on tonight's RAW, but Lesnar will make his return for the first time since August on the RAW six days after SummerSlam where Lesnar defeated CM Punk in one of the best matches of the year.
