The mother of Lamar Odom's two young children says she forgives her ex-fiance for neglecting them while still with soon-to-be ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.
Liza Morales tells HollywoodLife.com she just "wants him to be a father, and a good one" to 15-year-old daughter Destiny and 11-year-old son Lamar Jr.
After four years of marriage to the reality TV star Odom recently told reporters he now feels maintaining the Kardashian lifestyle led him to neglecting meaningful relationships with both his kids and his father, Joe Odom.
Citing irreconcilable differences, Kardashian formally filed for divorce earlier this month and Odom has since told HollywoodLife plans to "never speak with" his soon-to-be ex again.
Odom and Kardashian have spent much of the last year estranged and separated as he had been dogged by widespread allegations of hardcore drug abuse and chronic infidelity.
Though his relationship with the 29-year-old Kardashian finally seems over, Odom might be on his way to salvaging his one with Morales.
"She wants nothing more than for Lamar to be a father to his children," a source told HollywoodLife. "She knows, just like everybody else, the strain he was under when he was married to Khloe and how he put his family, including their children, on the back burner. Even through all that, Liza forgives him and wants him to reunite with his children. She wants to watch he and Lamar Jr. shoot hoops, and for Lamar to watch Destiny grow up and teach her about boys."
