Lou Williams is one of the greatest sixth men in the NBA, having won three awards during his stint. With the way the Phoenix Suns are doing right now, he believes that Devin Booker could do more if he's on a different team.
Williams, who last played in Atlanta Hawks in 2022 is excited to see the 28-year-old guard as a "Bad Boy" in the future.
Suns May Trade Devin Booker or Kevin Durant This Offseason
According to Sports Illustrated, the Suns are considering trading one or both of their valuable stars—Devin Booker and Kevin Durant this off-season. Though Durant was traded around the previous deadline, Booker has stuck with Phoenix since he was drafted. Yet, with another disappointing year, the Suns might have no option but to restart.

Lou Williams Would Love to See Booker in Detroit's Uniform
Former Clippers point guard Lou Williams recently chimed in on whether or not Booker would fit in with the Detroit Pistons. According to Williams, Booker's scoring prowess and leadership experience would do wonders for the young Pistons roster, especially as a complement to emerging star Cade Cunningham.
"I would love to see Devin Booker with the Pistons. They need another scoring punch...if you bring that starpower to the city of Detroit, I think you got a good thing going."

"I would love to see Devin Booker with [the Pistons]. They need another scoring punch. They need another veteran guy that can come in, that can be a 1-2 punch with Cade Cunningham...if you bring that star power into the city of Detroit, I think you got a good thing going if you can land Devin Booker."
If Booker and Pistons do not match, there are three more destinations where he could go. HoopsHype reported that he could also go to the New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Houston Rockets.
Booker's Michigan Roots Could Draw Him to Detroit
A possible Detroit move would work for Devin Booker on a personal basis. The All-Star guard is an Upper Peninsula Michigan native and has been spotted rooting for Detroit's sports teams, including the Lions, on several occasions.
This home-state connection would make the prospect of playing for the Pistons appealing, particularly if the Suns opt to rebuild after another disappointing season.
Durant's Future in Phoenix Also in Question
Kevin Durant's future with Phoenix is not guaranteed. Rumors said that the Suns will reportedly shop Durant to other teams after this season.
Although the "Slim Reaper" is still one of the league's most deadly scorers, his age and injury issues make his long-term compatibility on a rebuilding roster questionable.
Sun Could Rebuild For a Reset
If the Suns do not make the playoffs or get bounced out early again, a full-scale roster change might be unavoidable. Without control of their first-round picks and limited cap space, the Suns' best course of action might be to trade their stars for young players and future assets.
Dealing Booker or Durant would signal the start of a rebuilding process in Phoenix, but it may take some time to get the franchise positioned for long-term success.
