Netflix has revealed that boxing legend Manny Pacquiao is part of the contestants in the upcoming series "Physical: Asia," which is a spin-off of the hugely popular "Physical: 100."

Pacquiao, who won 12 major world titles throughout his career, will represent his country, the Philippines, in the survival competition.

"Physical: 100" is a reality competition from South Korea. 100 competitors take part in different challenges that test strength, agility, endurance, and even willpower. The last competitor standing after the series of tests is declared the winner.

"Physical: Asia" is expected to follow the same format but will include top athletes from different parts of Asia.

Fans have taken to social media to express their excitement to see the boxer on the spin-off of "Physical: 100."

One user on Reddit said, "Pac-Man is a machine! As long as he is not getting punched in the face, I am down to seeing him put his body to the test and I'll be rooting for him!"

"This exactly what he needs to be doing! Staying physically active, while not taking anymore [sic] damage," a fellow Reddit user said. "I'm all for this! This is way better than doing exhibitions.

"Boxing training is the business, I think he will do well," another Reddit user commented.
