Is former WWE World Champion Batista the latest addition to the list of big-name former WWE superstars who are planning to comeback to the company in time for the 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania next year?

PWInsider.com is reporting that Batista is advertised for the February 16, 2014 WWE event in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Thomas & Mack Center via both radio ads and internet advertising.

The same website reports that sources within the company confirmed that Batista would be back soon on WWE programming, with one source even hinting that the man called The Animal would even make a surprise appearance at the next WWE PPV, Royal Rumble slated next month. The same sources said the advertising was released prematurely, spoiling a planned surprise.

It is said that Batista had been talking to Triple H about a return to the ring even going back to the spring season, but his acting commitment has prevented him from doing so. The wrestler has a big part in Marvel's Guardians of The Galaxy.

The wrestler left the company in 2010 due to frustrations with the PG-type of programming that the WWE was into during that time. But he had long been aching to return for one final run in the company, instead of just coming back for one big match.

PWInsider sources also expressed belief Batista would work a little longer with the WWE, or until he was needed to do promotional work for "Guardians", which is slated for an August 1, 2014 theatrical release.
