White announced on Monday that while board positions hadn't ever really been expertise, he could not say no to the request from Zuckerberg. Speaking to TMZ, the 55-year-old described his interest in social media and artificial intelligence, which have tremendous potential for changing the world, as the compelling reason behind his joining the company.

"There is nothing I love more than building brands, and I look forward to helping take Meta to the next level," White said.

Zuckerberg Praises White's Entrepreneurial Genius

Mark Zuckerberg welcomed White to Meta's board, highlighting his admiration for White's entrepreneurial spirit and ability to elevate brands to global prominence.
