And, on Monday, Oct. 21, doctors confirmed a diagnosis that would cut the rest of his season, though.
Braxton Berrios' Emotional Response to ACL Injury
He expressed his sorrow about the long road to recovery in a heartfelt letter. "Absolutely heartbroken," he wrote. "Due to an injury yesterday, my season is over. The road ahead is measured in months, not days, but I find comfort in knowing I've been here before."
Still, this setback doesn't make Braxton lose hope and will. As TMZ reports, as he had some past experiences with injuries, he wasn't going to let it break his spirit.

Alix Earle Shows Support for Boyfriend Braxton Berrios
Alix Earle is an NFL WAG (wives and girlfriends of high-profile sportsmen and women) and Instagram influencer who is present to support her boyfriend, Berrios, after the injury.
On the social media platform, she took to Instagram, sharing her thoughts about the injury and promising not to leave her boyfriend through the long and painful recovery journey.
"Day in and day out, you inspire me, and I have no doubt that you will be back and better in no time, she said in her post. "Proud to be by your side and cheer you on."
The couple has been in a relationship for nearly a year and has demonstrated a strong bond. Earle's public message of support confirms that power is within their relationship during tough times.
"Initially all I want to do is play victim and question everything, but I know God and I know he makes no mistakes. After the dust settles the choice each day is going to be pretty straightforward- have this be a part of my story or have it be the end of my story. Well like Kobe once said, 'If you see me in a fight with a bear, pray for the bear," Berrios posted before Earle responded with "I love you."
A Long Road to Recovery
Sports Illustrated reports that the recovery process from a torn ACL is not exactly a cakewalk, but Berrios is no stranger to challenge. Fans and those who care about him can be sure they won't be alone as he embarks on his recovery. Earle has already made it clear that she will have his back from start to finish.
Indeed, with a positive attitude and supportive atmosphere, Berrios is going to return stronger shortly.
