New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers pleaded not guilty after being arrested for domestic violence, but the new information tells more parts of the story that were never told before.
The recent document courts indicated that the girlfriend of Peppers had reported that the NFL safety attacked her during a brawl in the wee hours of the night. Sources closer to the matter revealed that the athlete is disputing this and said it is untrue.
Domestic Violence Allegations Thrown at Peppers
As TMZ finds, the reported incident happened around 4 AM when Peppers' girlfriend received a telephone call while having the romantic rendezvous.
Based on the report, the phone call angered Peppers, who instructed her to leave the apartment. Official documents claim that Peppers later threw her out of the bedroom, both still naked, and became aggressive. She accused him of putting his hands at her neck and pushing her head against the wall; she described him as looking "out of his mind" with a "serious expression."

Incidents Alleged to Be Escalated
That was not the end of it, Peppers' girlfriend said. She accused Peppers of pushing her down a flight of stairs and throwing her handbag and phone at her in a fit of rage. As she tried to leave wearing his sweatpants, she said Peppers followed her, forcibly removing the pants and again demanding she leave.
"According to Jabrill, the [the woman] kept acting erratic and refused to leave. According to Jabrill, [the woman] fell by herself on the stairs because she was intoxicated. He denied pushing her down the stairs, and he said that she was making those allegations to destroy his career," the authorities wrote.
Visible Injuries and Arrest
When the police arrived, they observed apparent scratches on the woman's knees and redness on her forehead. Conducting investigations and listening to her account, Peppers was arrested at the scene on various charges - assault and battery against an intimate partner, among others.
The authorities made matters worse when they reported the discovery of a clear plastic bag filled with white powder from Peppers' wallet. He allegedly confessed that it was cocaine.
In response to the recent investigation, Peppers' attorney claimed that they have evidence that "completely contradicts the alleged victim's story." The lawyer added that the information they hold will "fully exonerate" Peppers from the case.
Pepper's Defense of the Charges
Peppers has strongly denied the allegations. In fact, in his words quoted in court papers, he argues that the woman faked the accusations against him because he had refused to engage in unprotected sex with her when she became angry.
Peppers' future in the NFL is however murky as he was not featured in the recent loss for the Patriots over Dolphins and should remain questionable for the game with Houston Texans. Bleacher Report tells us that Patriots are aware of the safety's situation. No comments were made at the time.
