Tyrese Haliburton made an appearance at WWE NXT on Tuesday, and The Heartbreak Kid himself praised the NBA player for a job well done.
The Indiana Pacers star was in Orlando, Florida, to help facilitate the contract signing between WWE Superstars Ethan Page and Trick Williams for the upcoming NXT Championship.
Other Pacers players accompanied Haliburton, but it was the NBA All-Star who took the mic and the centerstage at the event.
He even poked fun at the Orlando crowd, which booed him and his teammates.
"I would boo too if I had to be an Orlando Magic fan," he said.

After the event, Haliburton was seen backstage with Shawn Michaels, WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative and head of NXT. HBK praised the Olympic gold medalist for a "tremendous hell of a job" and asked him if he enjoyed his short WWE appearance.
"Yeah, it was a lot of fun," Haliburton, who was wearing a Heartbreak Kid shirt answered.
