Tom Brady just revealed his five best quarterbacks currently playing in the NFL, and his number one pick isn't much of a surprise. Did your favorite make it to the GOAT's list?

Brady, widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, was present at the Fanatics Fest 2024 in New York City over the weekend, sharing the stage with ESPN host Stephen A. Smith. The two talked about the 47-year-old's 23 seasons in the league that began with the New England Patriots in 2000. Over two decades later, with multiple awards and Super Bowl championships, Brady remains one of the best football players ever.

Now that he's retired, many fans wonder who he thinks is following in his footsteps as the most dominant quarterback.

"Top 5 quarterbacks in the National Football League right now, according to Tom Brady," Smith asked, suggesting Patrick Mahomes as number one which the five-time Super Bowl MVP seems to agree with.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has two Super Bowl titles and two Super Bowl MVPs (2020 and 2023). He was also named NFL MVP in 2018 and 2022.

Brady also pointed out that Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen and the Baltimore Ravens' Lamar Jackson are players who he admitted "always impresses" him.

Allen is a two-time Pro Bowl selection (2020 and 2022) and holds a few NFL records, including the first NFL player in history with four consecutive seasons with 40 TDs.

Jackson, on the other hand, is also a two-time NFL MVP (2019 and 2023), a three-time Pro Bowl selection (2019, 2021, 2023), and a two-time First Team All-Pro, among his other achievements.

Completing his top five are Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals and Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets.

"I'm very interested to see how Aaron comes back and performs this year," the father of three added.

ARod has been sidelined for a year due to a torn Achilles tendon injury that occurred on his first game with the Jets after being traded by the Green Bay Packers.

Tom Brady still considered A GOAT

Brady is considered by most as one of the greatest football players ever, with seven Super Bowl titles, five Super Bowl MVPs, three NFL MVPs, two Offensive Player of the Year awards, and 15 Pro Bowl selections, among many other accolades.

Brady retired from the sport in 2022.
