Saturday's thrilling final saw the U.S. men's basketball team take their fifth straight Olympic gold medal after defeating France 98-87, putting themselves on the record books and making history.

Curry Comes Up Big In Crunch Time

In the final two minutes of the game, Stephen Curry, who plays for the Golden State Warriors, made a difference by scoring three successive three-pointers. With 24 points and going 8-of-13 beyond the arc, his performance was crucial to help seal win for Team USA.

Durant, Booker, James and Davis Light it up

Devin Booker and Kevin Durant also played vital roles in this process by both adding 15 points apiece to America's total. LeBron James rounded up an amazing all-round play with 14 points, ten assists, and six rebounds and was named the game's MVP. Anthony Davis was highly instrumental defensively, with a match-leading ten rebounds and four blocks.

Kevin Durant has won four gold medals at the Olympics now, which is the highest by any men's basketball player with this gold medal. Lebron James has won another Olympic medal, his fourth one, including three golds and a bronze.
