Two of the best NBA players will face off on the international stage with their respective national teams, although one team will be at a disadvantage.

Greece will face Slovenia in the semifinals of the Piraeus leg of the 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament, which will be held on Saturday, July 6, at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, Greece.

However, due to a knee injury, Greece will be without big man Kostas Antetokounmpo, brother of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The 26-year-old sustained the injury during the second quarter of Greece's last group-stage game against Egypt on Wednesday, July 4.

Meanwhile, Giannis did not participate in the game against Egypt as he rested, but he is expected to play the rest of the tournament.

Giannis Antetokoumpo vs Luka Doncic set for semifinals

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece will face Slovenia and Luka Doncic in the semifinals of the Olympic qualifiers. The tournament winner will earn a berth in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Antetokounmpo and Doncic are among the best players in the world. For the past five seasons, both have been members of the All-NBA First Team.

The Greece versus Slovenia match winner will advance to play Croatia or the Dominican Republic in the finals.
