The Lakers defeated the Bucks 128-124 in double overtime.

The Milwaukee Bucks signed Brook Lopez from the Los Angeles Lakers first. Then, they took Wesley Matthews. Malik Beasley was next.

The latest is Taurean Prince, as the small forward signed a one-year deal to join the 2021 NBA Champions.

Shams Charania first reported the news, but how much he would be paid was not stated.

Prince is fresh from his stint with the Purple and Gold, where he played 78 games and averaged 8.9 points and 2.9 rebounds while shooting at 39.6 percent.

The move reunites him with former Lakers coach Darvin Ham, who was fired at the start of the season but immediately found his way back home to Milwaukee, where he served as an assistant for four seasons.

He is entering his 10th season and made $4.5 million last season.

Taurean Prince's fit with the Bucks

Prince is only the second major signing by the Bucks this season after they signed Delon Wright the other day.

While those two are not powerhouse names, they fill the hole in their roster as some players ended up unfit in the team's game plans.

Prince is an upgrade for Jae Crowder, whose days with the Bucks are numbered after he did not find his top form in the last two seasons. The Bucks also previously had Danilo Gallinari, but he did not see significant minutes since coming there in mid-season.

Prince's long wingspan and great perimeter defense will be crucial in helping Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.

On the other hand, Wright basically answered the question on Patrick Beverley's time at Fiserv. He will be the team's main guard defender.
