The Stanley Cup Final matchup is set between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers, with the puck dropping on Game 1 this weekend.

The Panthers got through three rounds in the Eastern Conference, beating the New York Rangers in the conference final, while the Oilers are the last team standing out of the Western Conference after a hard-fought series win over the Dallas Stars.

The Oilers have not been to the Stanley Cup Final since they lost in 2006, and they're looking to become the first Canadian franchise to capture the Cup since 1993.

Florida was in the final just last season, but they are looking for their first Cup win in franchise history after losing to the Vegas Golden Knights in 2023.

Who is Favored to Win the Series?

The Oilers may have the best player in the world in Connor McDavid, but they still find themselves as underdogs against a Florida team that has already been in this position.

The gap between the two teams is a close one according to oddsmakers, though, as ESPNBet has the Panthers as -130 favorites, while the Oilers are +110 underdogs.
