Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Mike Conley Jr. was brought to the team to be a veteran presence and provide leadership to a young, up-and-coming team.
But it doesn't mean the 36-year-old would not learn something back, as he shared what he learned from Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns.
"Taught me to just be grateful for the joy of this game. Having fun. You play 17 years you can go into this cycle, same thing everyday... and they brought that excitement back. Like I'm a 15 year-old going to play out in the park or something," the 2021 NBA All-Star said.
On the other hand, the two Timberwolves stars roasted Conley during the post-game conference of Game 4 of their Western Conference Finals series against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, May 28.
"Y'all got any questions for Mike? Anybody wanna ask me about Mike (Bite Bite)... Bite Bite is old as f**k," Edwards hilariously told the media.

Conley elaborated on the specific learnings he is getting from the team's young crop of players.
"Everyday it's something new. Everyday they're teaching me something about hip-hop, TV shows, video games or something. They're keeping me young, honestly. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else," Conley admitted.
The Timberwolves avoided getting swept by the Dallas Mavericks by winning Game 4, 105-100. They extended the series to a Game 5 set on Thursday, May 30, on their home floor at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
