Indiana Fever vs. Connecticut Sun

Time: 7:30 PM

Network: ESPN2/Disney+

No.1 overall pick Caitlin Clark will make her regular season debut against the Connecticut Sun.

The highly touted prospect, who broke multiple records during her dominant run at Iowa, will have her hands full against an excellent Connecticut Sun team that was almost in the finals a season ago, as the Sun continue their championship aspirations for the 2024 WNBA season.

The Caitlin Clark effect has been infectious as her highly anticipated debut will be in front of a sold-out crowd at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

With a jam-packed arena, it should be exciting to see how well Clark will play and whether the Sun is up to the challenge of slowing down this dynamic scorer.

New York Liberty vs. Washington Mystics

TIme: 7:00 PM

The New York Liberty will also begin their quest for a WNBA Championship on the road when they take on the Washington Mystics.

The Liberty dominated last season behind their dynamic duo of Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart before losing to the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA Finals.

The Mystics will look different this season without Elena Delle Donne (taking a break from basketball) and now Shakira Austin, who will potentially be out at the beginning of the season due to hip surgery.

But they still do have an exciting roster, highlighted by Aaliyah Edwards, who is making her regular season debut, and Brittney Sykes, who is a proven scorer.

Taking on the Phoenix Mercury, the Las Vegas Aces will kick off their quest for a three peat at home.

The Aces are strong favorites to make it back to the finals behind their elite core of A'ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Chelsea Gray, and Jackie Young.

The Mercury are already down one player, with Brittney Griner out indefinitely due to a toe injury; which is expected to keep her out for several weeks.

Still, the Mercury have a shot with their own talented core, especially after offseason acquisitions of Natasha Cloud and Kahleah Copper, who will join the legendary Diana Taurasi.

Seattle Storm vs. Minnesota Lynx

Time: 10:00 PM

Network: ESPN3 or BSNX

The New Look Seattle Storm will take on Napheesa Collier and the Minnesota Lynx.

Seattle will get the first glimpse of their big offseason signings of Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike, and how they will fit alongside Jewell Loyd and Ezi Magbegor.

While the Lynx will look to start their season strong, picking up a win on the road against the Storm would be a nice start.

The Minnesota Lynx made minor offseason adjustments to their roster, such as picking up Courtney Williams. With Alanna Smith, Natasha Heidman, and Napheesa Collier, the Lynx could sneak out of Seattle with a win.
