Shaquille O'Neal and JJ Redick, both well-known former NBA players who have shifted into roles as television analysts, recently engaged in discussions on various topics during the latest episode of O'Neal's podcast, "The Big Podcast."
The two proceeded to delve into the subject of the Mount Rushmore of a**holes they encountered in the league during their playing careers, expressing their opinions candidly without reservation.
O'Neal led the unveiling of his list, which included several legendary players with whom he had intense court battles.
"Gary Payton was an a**hole. I've seen that man talk to all my guards about their mamas about their wives about their kids. Kevin Garnett seeing him do the same thing. Alonzo Mourning was an a**hole because he always tried to be mean," the four-time NBA champion said.
O'Neal also included Antoine Walker, another player he frequently faced in physical matchups in the paint.
JJ Redick picks several a**hole teammates
Meanwhile, it was no surprise that Redick included Kevin Garnett in his list.
However, his decision to include two former teammates in his lineup caught many off guard.
"KG For sure. I put Rasheed up there. It's funny man I would have loved to been both those guys teammates, I never got the chance. Teammates, Hedo Turkoglu for sure. Underrated a**sholes, and I love him to death, TJ McConnell," the sharpshooter stated.
