Canelo Alvarez comes into Saturday night's fight with a record of 60-2-2 compared to the record of the 27-year-old Jaime Munguia, who has an astounding 43 victories and 0 losses with 34 knockouts.
Both fighters have emerged victorious in their last fights, leading into their high-stakes bout in Las Vegas.

Is Jaime Munguia's Legacy on the Line?
Jaime Munguia securing a victory against Canelo Alvarez would launch him into a different stratosphere.
Despite having 43 professional fights and an undefeated record, Munguia has never fought an opponent quite like Alvarez on the grandest stage.
The key for Jaime Munguia coming into this fight is to stay aggressive while trying to avoid counters. Limiting mistakes and relying on speed is detrimental against the older, but more powerful Canelo Alvarez.
Canelo Alvarez Edge in Professional Fight Experience
Canelo Alvarez is a decorated champion, who, of course, has considerably more fight experience compared to Jaime Munguia.
Alvarez should be able to keep Munguia honest through the rounds, as it is his first big-time fight. Canelo could look to exploit any excessive aggression from Jaime and catch him with a few well timed counters.
Teams got testy in their final press event on Wednesday leading up to the fight on Saturday, as Alvarez called out Oscar De La Hoya and Golden Boy Promotions. Canelo didn't hold back on vulgarity once Oscar tried to take credit for building Alvarez's name. Canelo continued his onslaught by predicting a KO of Jaime Munguia within eight rounds.
