We've all heard it before, where there is smoke tends to be fire, and there is a lot of smoke coming out from within Red Bull Racing.
This was quite an eventful off-week leading up to the Miami GP, between more drivers on the move, Adrian Newey's supposed desire to leave Red Bull, and now sprinkle in some more Max Verstappen to Mercedes rumors into the mix as well.

Drawing Conclusions Between Adrian Newey and Max Verstappen
There are rumblings of Verstappen and his father meeting with Mercedes team Principle Toto Wolff, and a desire to meet again after the Miami Grand Prix. Tag this along with the Newey departure and I'd say Red Bull is a time bomb waiting to implode. Could this really be all because of Red Bull team Principle Christian Horner's recent scandal, or was this ever present and that event just broke the back.
A small connection between the Adrian Newey move and a possible Max Verstappen move could be assumed. If Newey were to sign with Mercedes, we think the likelihood of Verstappen leaving Red Bull would increase dramatically. If Adrian Newey accepts Ferrari's, or McLaren's, offer, Verstappen may not be incentivized to depart from the Austrian F1 team just yet.
Newey is a masterful race engineer and his pairing with driver Max Verstappen is directly related to the success Red Bull has had in the past few years. Losing them both will surely hurt Red Bull's ability to emulate the Mercedes dynasty of the past.
