While Shawn Michaels is known to wrestling fans as the "Heartbreak Kid," once WWE's WrestleMania comes around, he's known as Mr. WrestleMania. HBK hasn't wrestled at a WrestleMania since he put his career on the line against the Undertaker's streak and lost in 2010 at WrestleMania XXVI, but after his promo with CM Punk on Monday night's episode of RAW, could Mr. WrestleMania be tuning up the band for a return to the biggest event of the year?

Rumors have circulated for months regarding what the card will look like for the WWE's WrestleMania XXX pay-per-view event on April 6 in New Orleans, and while Michaels has vowed not to wrestle again after losing the match to the Undertaker almost four years ago, the developments on Monday Night RAW proved to be interesting.

Punk came out to talk about how he doesn't believe in Christmas miracles but felt lucky that he defeated The Shield in a 3-on-1 handicap match at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs and then began talking about Triple H trying to hold him down and challenged Triple H to come out to the ring. Instead he got Michaels.

Michaels discussed kicking Punk the week prior and Punk said he respected Michaels but if it ever happened again he will kick him back. Michaels took to Twitter and revealed that it was a late second phone call that got the Texas native to RAW in Dallas:

While the events have led to speculation that HBK may have one more match left in him, this was likely done to enhance the Triple H and Punk storyline that is rumored to come to a head with a match between the WWE COO and the "Straightedge Superstar" at WrestleMania XXX.

The WWE has reportedly changed its plans for WrestleMania a lot over the last couple of weeks with a Triple H and Punk match now being slated for the biggest show in WWE history.

Backstage reports indicated that Triple H would take on The Big Show at either TLC or the Royal Rumble in January, but the plans were scrapped as it seems the WWE wants to save a Triple H return match as an extra draw for WrestleMania and a clash with Punk.

Punk was rumored to take on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin if the "Texas Rattlesnake" was able to compete in one more match, but that seems highly unlikely at this point. Punk expressed his desire to wrestle for the title in the main event at WrestleMania in the past, including last year when he fought the Undertaker in a high-profile match while The Rock took on John Cena in the main event for the title.

"I don't really mince words, I'm not gonna tell you I'm excited for Cena and Rock II because I'm not," Punk told reporters during WrestleMania XXIX weekend last year. "I'd be more excited if it was me and John [Cena]."

Still, it would seem that the WWE is heading towards a Punk and Triple H encounter at WrestleMania while Michaels will be used in the buildup and may eventually be involved in a referee capacity.

Most of the WWE Universe would love to see one more moment from Mr. WrestleMania, but it seems like the retired wrestler won't compete at WrestleMania 30.
