The United States men's basketball national team is finalizing the inclusion of 11 players on its star-studded roster for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, which will occur from July 26 to August 11.
Team USA has gathered all the top American players for the Olympics following their fourth-place finish in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
The United States Olympic roster will be led by three of the greatest players of this generation: LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant.
Alongside them, young stars, including Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Bam Adebayo, and Tyrese Haliburton, will bring fresh energy to the team.
The team has left one spot open to provide flexibility for roster adjustments as needed. The last spot on the Olympic roster has previously been given to the best American college player, but this hasn't always been the case.

Team USA looking for redemption
Team USA is aiming to reclaim its international dominance after a disappointing fourth-place finish in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup in the Philippines.
The team's decision to send a roster without their top players, instead opting for young talent with potential and some veteran players, came up short of winning a medal.
In light of this result, several top NBA players had expressed their intention to play in the Olympics before the 2023-24 NBA season started.
