Derek Jeter has a strict "no camera or phones" rule for all visitors to his St. Petersburg Fla. mansion.
TheBigLead.com reports the New York Yankees star infielder has a basket in the foyer of his sprawling, 30, 875-square-foot multimillion dollar estate where all guests are required to dump their phones and cameras before entering his Davis Island home famously known as "St. Jetersburg."
"He points and says 'phones go there,' so no one can take pictures inside his house," a source told TheBigLead.
The website reports over the course of his 19-year New York City career the policy seemingly has done wonders for the 39-year-old star, who despite romantica links to such leading ladies as Mariah Carey, Mina Kelly, Jordana Brewster, Jessica Alba, Adrianna Lima and Jessica Biel, has avoided any hint of a personal scandal.
A 13 time-All-Star, Jeter has 3,316 hits, 256 home runs, 1, 261 RBI and has stolen 348 bases in leading the Yankees to five World Series titles. Jeter leads the franchise in career hits, games played (2,602) and at bats (10, 614). He has also won five Gold Glove Awards, five Silver Slugger Awards, two Hank Aaron Awards and a Roberto Clemente Award.
