A third individual has been formally charged with murder in connection with the shooting incident that transpired during the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade on February 14.
The Jackson County prosecutor's office disclosed that 20-year-old Terry Young faces charges including second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon, and two counts of armed criminal action.
Young is presently incarcerated with a bond set at $1 million and has not yet secured legal representation.
On the other hand, two other adults, namely Lyndell Mays and Dominic M. Miller, were previously charged with second-degree murder and multiple weapons-related offenses immediately following the shooting.
Additionally, the prosecutor's office revealed that another juvenile is also facing charges for their involvement in the shooting, bringing the total number of minors charged to three in addition to the three adults.

According to prosecutors, what initially began as a verbal altercation ultimately escalated into a situation where six individuals discharged firearms.
"Everyone we've identified who discharged a firearm in response to the verbal altercation detailed here has been taken into custody," Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney Jean Peters Baker said in a statement.
One person died in tragic Chiefs parade shooting
Tragically, one person, Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a 43-year-old innocent bystander, lost her life during the shooting incident at the parade.
Injuries were sustained by 40 individuals, including 22 victims affected by gunfire and 18 others injured under different circumstances.
An estimated 1 million people attended the parade as Kansas City celebrated the Chiefs' second consecutive Super Bowl victory.
