Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has made a bold claim regarding his team's 2024 NBA playoff chances despite their inconsistent performance throughout the season.
The Warriors currently occupy the 10th seed and the last play-in spot in the fiercely competitive Western Conference, boasting a record of 34-30. They maintain a relatively safe four-game lead over the 11th-seeded Houston Rockets, who currently hold a 29-35 record.
Despite a season marked by ups and downs, the 58-year-old coach believes that the Dubs can elevate their game when the postseason arrives, even going as far as declaring the Warriors to have a deep run.
"I feel really strongly that our team is primed if we can really stay healthy down the stretch, get Steph back. I feel like we can make a really good run," Kerr said on Bay Area radio station 95.7 The Game.
Throughout the year, the Warriors were hit by several absences due to injuries and suspensions, particularly to stars Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green.
