Texas A&M (18-13 and 9-9 in SEC) find themselves looking to make the NCAA Tournament again after getting bounced in the first round last season against Penn State.

The Aggies finished the season on a high note, winning three straight against SEC opponents in the final weeks behind the play of their dynamic backcourt consisting of Wade Taylor IV, Tyrece Radford, and Junior guard Manny Obaeski.

Texas A&M's season finale came in an 86-60 blowout win against the Ole Miss Rebels in Oxford on Saturday.

Still, they have more work to do if they want to find themselves playing in the March Madness Tournament.

Texas A&M Resume

The Aggies found themselves barely scraping the top 50 in the Net Ranking, landing at 46 following their win over Ole Miss.

Their best wins on the season have been against conference rivals. On February 10th, they defeated the Tennessee Volunteers by a score of 85-69.

Other significant wins include a 73-69 victory over Iowa State on November 26th. A 67-66 win against Florida on February 3rd and a 97-92 a win over Kentucky, No.9 on January 13th.

Texas A&M NCAA Tournament Chances

The Aggies' chances of making the NCAA Tournament depend on how far they can go in the SEC Tournament. They're likely in the NCAA Tournament if they can pick up two wins in the SEC Tournament.

They'll face Ole Miss in a rematch in the first round of the SEC Tournament and a win over the Rebels would pit the Aggies against the red-hot Kentucky team, who has won all five of their remaining regular season games.

A win over the Wildcats would lock them for the NCAA Tournament.

The No.7-seed Texas A&M will play the No.10-seed Ole Miss Rebels in the SEC Tournament on Thursday, March 17, at 6 p.m. CT. The game will air on SEC Network.
