Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has reportedly requested a trade.

The Bengals placed the franchise tag on Tee Higgins just before the start of free agency; the wide receiver is set to make $21.8 million throughout next season.

Higgins' time with Cincinnati was up and down since being drafted along with star quarterback Joe Burrow.

He struggled to stay on the field despite showing glimpses of great play. Higgins was quickly slotted to WR2 behind Ja'Marr Chase, who proved to be one of the best wide receivers in the league.

The Bengals second option is fresh off of a somewhat injury-plagued season. One where he missed five games and posted career lows in receptions (42), yards (656), and touchdowns (five), all while battling ribs and hamstring injuries.

Still, when healthy, Higgins has proven to be a quality receiver and he could emerge as a solid piece for any team going forward.

Tee Higgins can Land with the New York Jets

The Bengals aren't likely to send Higgins to any rival AFC team. However, the receiver-needy New York Jets should try to make a move to acquire him.

It's no secret that the Jets struggled last season offensively, especially without Hall of Fame-bound quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who suffered a year ending injury four plays into the season during week one against the Bills.

The Jets receiving core could see a massive boost by trading for Tee Higgins. It would add another weapon for Rodgers to throw it too and prove to be an upgrade over names like Allen Lazard and Randell Cobb.

Higgins could likely compliment Garrett Wilson, who has shown flashes of elite-level play already two years into his career.

Tee Higgins could Fly with the New the Atlanta Falcons

With the Falcons looking to make a quarterback change during the offseason, they could likely add more firepower to an already talented group by signing Tee Higgins.

The Falcons are loaded at skill positions with players such as Kyle Pitts (TE), Drake London (WR), and Bijan Robinson(RB). However, there are still questions at quarterback; whether the Falcons sign a free agent like Kirk Cousins, trade for one, or even get one in the draft. Whoever they decide to role with may need some extra help

Tee Higgins to Another Team in the AFC East, the New England Patriots

The New England Patriots can fill one of their biggest holes on their roster this season by adding a wide receiver like Tee Higgins.

The Patriots receiving core was rather lackluster last season with not one crossing the 1,000 yard milestone. Higgins potentially could give them another threat for whichever rookie, or veteran, quarterback they may take in the draft/sign.

Tee Higgins in Building Up the Chicago Bears

If the Chicago Bears choose to take Caleb Williams with the No.1 pick in the draft, they might as well pair D.J. Moore with another dynamic wide receiver.

The Bears brought in D.J. Moore last season, who had one of his best seasons in his career posting 1,364 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

They could add Higgins alongside Moore and potentially make them one of the NFL's best wide receiver duos in 2024.
