Paris Saint-Germain is contemplating a substantial bid of £120 million ($152 million) for Arsenal star Bukayo Saka during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Such a potential sale would set a new Arsenal club record, surpassing the £35 million they garnered from Liverpool for midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2017.

This significant move is motivated by PSG's quest to secure a suitable replacement for their star, Kylian Mbappe, who is anticipated to move to the Spanish club Real Madrid in the same summer transfer window.

A product of Arsenal's Hale End youth academy, Saka has accumulated 214 appearances for the club across all competitions, contributing 54 goals and 55 assists since his senior debut in November 2018.

Arsenal reluctant to pull trigger on Saka sale despite tempting offer

Despite the mouth-watering offer, Arsenal hesitates to part ways with the 22-year-old winger, who holds a special place in the hearts of the Gunners fans as a graduate of their academy.

Saka, who signed a contract extension last May, keeping him at the Emirates Stadium until 2027, has become an integral part of manager Mikel Arteta's squad in recent years.

The England international currently holds the position of Arsenal's leading scorer for the season, having netted 16 goals in 35 games across all tournaments.

Additionally, he boasts the highest number of assists for the team, with a remarkable tally of 15.
