After the Kansas City Chiefs released Marquez Valdes-Scantling to clear up $12 million salary cap space, the Super Bowl-winning receiver finds himself looking for a new home ahead of the NFL Free agency.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling is coming off a disappointing regular season in Kansas City, where he posted 21 catches with only 215 receiving yards.

The veteran wide receiver could still be productive in the right situation. He has proven to be big-time in the playoffs and could provide veteran leadership in any locker room.

Here are some teams that should try to lore in the wide receiver.

Jacksonville Jaguars

With the possibility of Calvin Ridley walking in Free agency, the Jaguars may likely look to bolster their wide receiver core in adding Valdes-Scantling.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming off a disappointing season after clinching the AFC South a year ago to recently going 9-8 this season, missing the playoffs.

Despite an up and down bounce-back season from Ridley, who returned from a suspension, the Jaguars' receiving core was shaky. In Duval County, WR Christian Kirk spent a portion of the season on IR, and Zay Jones, who played through most of the season injured, didn't make much of an impact this past season.

Adding Valdes-Scantling would be needed depth in the receiving core for Trevor Lawerance, who is coming off a disappointing third season after making the playoffs for the first time in his career a year prior.

The New York Jets

The Jets may add another former Aaron Rodgers teammate to the roster.

The Jets' receiving core features a rising star Garrett Wilson along with Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard, both disappointing in their initial stint in New York.

Still, adding Valdez-Scantling would be a solid move for the Jets.

He is familiar with Rodgers, as Scantling spent four seasons in Green Bay alongside the talented quarterback. Some of Scantling's best games were with Rodgers being that five of Valdes-Scantling's six 100-yard games came during his time with the Packers.

Scantling could be a trustworthy deep-ball threat for Rodgers in the Jets' offense and he comes with some Super Bowl experience after playing in two of them with the Chiefs.

The speedy wideout has had the pleasure of playing with two of the best quarterbacks the league has ever seen, Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers.

Now, he will likely get the chance to reunite with the Hall of Fame bound quarterback, but this time in the city that never sleeps.

The Chicago Bears

The Bears have a big decision about who they want to be their starting quarterback.

Justin Fields or Caleb Williams is a good problem to have for fans of the The Windy City football team.

Whichever young quarterback they decide to roll the dice on would definitely benefit from having another dynamic receiver to play with next to DJ Moore.

Last season, the Bears had DJ Moore, who had a career year, along with Chase Claypool and Darnell Mooney, who were solid contributors.

If signed to Chicago, Scantling would prove to be a perfect number two aside from DJ Moore, and give their young quarterback another receiving threat in their offense.
