The Los Angeles Clippers will look to embark on a new journey next season when the franchise moves to the Intuit Dome after over 20 seasons of playing in the Crypto.com arena.

A total rebranding would accompany the team's move. On Monday, the franchise debuted new uniforms, logos, and court designs for the 2024-25 season.

The new logo design would show the franchise embracing its maritime roots, going for a navy blue emblem with a compass that forms the letter C and a naval clipper ship in the middle.

The color scheme is more similar, emphasizing navy blue, which is shown as the color of their new home court. The color scheme is red, blue, and white, which remain the same.

The new uniforms serve as a callback to the franchise's earlier days, as they will bring back the famous signature cursive font with a modern twist.

The new logo would sit in center court along with coordinates referring to the location of the venue.

"We have been on a long journey gathering feedback and insights from across Clipper Nation," said Jillian Zucker, President of Business Operations for the L.A. Clippers and their new arena, Intuit Dome.

"We listened to as many voices as we could and then engaged specialists to arrive at a timeless design that blends bedrocks of our past and future," Zucker added.

The franchise underwent a maritime logo style in 2015 when Balmer first bought the franchise. During their Lob City era, where Blaker Griffin and Chris Paul headlined.

That saw the franchise go away from the script type when they rebranded under Steve Balmer years ago, but they are now bringing it.

Clippers governor Steve Balmer broke down the change to ESPN's NBA insider, Zach Lowe, telling him that it was time for a change, a slightly new identity, but said fans were adamant about maintaining the Clippers name.

"The focus groups are advisory, not definitive," he said. "But I still listen to them, and I have heard, partially to my surprise, that there is no interest in a name change. I had thought about [the name] years ago, before I got the team, but we heard similar reactions back then."

The long-time rival of the Los Angeles Lakers would be leaving the Crypto.com arena next season, making their 18,000 capacity Intuit Dome their new home after years of playing second fiddle to the other Lakers team.

This season, the team has experienced great success behind the play of their all-star tandem, Paul George and Khawi Leonard. They are currently competing for first place in the Western Conference.

With their move to the new arena, along with new uniforms and court designs, it puts more emphasis on Clippers basketball in Los Angeles for years to come.

"It will make for a phenomenal hat," she said. "In 20 years, people will look back, and this will be iconic for the Clippers," Gillian Zucker said.
