Late last night Red Bull's rebranded sister team, Visa Cash App RB (formerly AlphaTauri) or VCARB, revealed its highly anticipated 2024 model in Las Vegas.

The VCARB 01 looks to bring new life to the previously lowly AlphaTauri F1 team, as the team finished in eight place in last year's constructors standings.

The RB partnered team sports a more lively blue color compared to last year's design, calling back to the days of when the team was Torro Rosso. With a more vibrant livery this year, the VCARB team hopes for its new design to transcend into their team's success.

VCARB will be rolling with familiar drivers, as they continue to move forward with the driver pair of Japanese Yuki Tsunoda and Australian Daniel Ricciardo.

Manager Laurent Mekies looks to maximize his team's potential, finding ways to work within regulations of outsourcing parts and sharing parts from their neighboring Red Bull team. Mekies states,

"We're in a situation where we have one owner of two teams, and of course we are being asked - 'what can we share?' We should share. We are looking at the regulations and doing the sharing we're able to do. On the side we have in our hand - which is the largest part of the car - we're pushing as hard as we can to gear up to fight for bigger prizes."

"It also comes with some downside. If you take someone else's gearbox, which a lot of teams are doing, you will have to wait until the team has designed the gearbox to understand where your suspension points will be - which impacts your aero decisions. There are compromises," Mekies added.
