NBA Trade Deadline: Jazz Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji to Raptors

The Utah Jazz are trading big man Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Kira Lewis, Otto Porter, and a 2024 first-round pick, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

The first round will be the least favorable of the Thunder's, Clippers', Rockets', and Jazz's picks, per Wojnarowski.

Through 50 games in Salt Lake City, Olynyk is averaging 8.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, while shooting 42% from behind the arch on a Jazz team that is currently 26-26.

Their crowded frontcourt in Utah was cause for concern that saw Olynyk share minutes with Markkanen, Walker Kessler, and John Collins, making him expendable.

Now, the Raptors would be getting one of the better floor-spacing big men in the league, who has continued to be an efficient player.

The Raptors are 18-33, and they have made several trades, including moving OG Anunoby to the Knicks and Pascal Siakim to the Indiana Pacers to build around their young all-star Scottie Barnes.
