Domantas Sabonis' stats for the 2023-2024 NBA season were not enough for him to get an All-Star call-up.
The Sacramento Kings center/forward is regarded as one of the biggest snubs in the February NBA festivities in Indiana.
He performed as usual for the Kings in the loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, recording 12-19-15 in 34 minutes.
He became the seventh player to post 10+ points, 19+ boards, and 15+ assists in a single game. That puts him beside Wilt Chamberlain, who did it eight times, Oscar Robertson (3x), Russell Westbrook (3x), Guy Rodgers, Larry Bird, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Those may be Sabonis' usual numbers, but they are extra special as the performance put him in the elite club for the fastest triple-double in the league's history. It is a reminder of why he should be in the ASG.

He recorded a triple-double in under 20 and nine seconds of play. That is the seventh-fastest in the history of the NBA.
Here are the six fastest that Domantas Sabonis' stats vs Cavs trail:
6. Victor Wembanyama, 20 minutes, 2 seconds
The San Antonio Spurs super rookie recorded his first NBA career triple-double against the Pistons on January 10.
That also happened to be the sixth-fastest ever. He recorded 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.
The Spurs are in good, big hands.
5. Luka Doncic, 18 minutes, 59 seconds
Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is one of those who make triple-double stats look easy.
He recorded the fifth-fastest double-digit points, rebounds, and assists on December 6 against the Jazz.
His is probably the most impressive, as he already collected 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists before the first half ended.
On the same night, he also passed Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird for the most triple-doubles by a player.
"That's pretty amazing," Doncic said about the feat.
"I don't know what to say, honestly. But we all know who Larry Bird was, so it's pretty special."
4. Russell Westbrook, 18 minutes 43 seconds
Westbrook is the real Mr. Triple Double, occupying the top of the list with 198.
He also owns the fourth-fastest triple-double when he reached the mark in 18 minutes against the Los Angeles Clippers as part of the OKC Thunder.
Brodie finished the game with 17 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds.
3. Russell Westbrook, 17 minutes 35 seconds
Brodie showed out in Kobe Bryant's last road game against the Thunder, posting 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in under 18 minutes. This was the second-fastest triple-double at that time.
It was his fourth straight game to record double digits on the three major categories.
2. Jim Tucker 17 minutes
Tucker may be unknown to many, but he holds one record many players cannot boast.
He only played three seasons as part of the Syracuse Nationals, but on February 20, 1955, his name was immortalized for posting 12 points, 12 dimes, and 10 rebounds in just 17 minutes against the New York Knicks.
He held the distinction of fastest triple-double for more than six decades until Nikola Jokic happened.
1. Nikola Jokic, 14 minutes 33 seconds
The Denver Nuggets star and two-time MVP is a magician on the court-quick thinking, quick hands, and quickest triple-doubles ever.
He did it in just 14 minutes and 33 seconds to break Tucker's long-standing record. What's more impressive was that he did it against fellow rising star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
He finished the game with 30 points, 17 assists, and 15 rebounds in 34 minutes.
