American tennis fans have found a new sweetheart in Coco Gauff after the retirement of Serena Williams.
The 19-year-old captured her first ever Grand Slam at the U.S. Open last year and came close to getting her second at the 2024 Australian Open as she bowed out in the semifinals against Aryna Sabalenka in two sets.
This is only the beginning for the teenager. More good things are about to happen to her career and her pocket.
Coco Gauff's net worth in 2024 is much different before winning the U.S. Open.
American legend John McEnroe expects her to win more majors soon.
"You know, I look at Coco a little bit like [Carlos] Alcaraz against some of the bigger hitters," McEnroe told Eurosport.
"It's similar with her. She's not as big as the other players and but she's extremely athletic, the way Alcaraz is. I expect her to win more Majors."
Winning majors means more "cash in" for Coco Gauff.
She will get hers in time, but for now, she is one of the more successful teenagers in professional tennis, and her rising net worth is worth looking at.
Coco Gauff Net Worth: $21.7 Million
Gauff missed out on the $2.1 million cash prize as an Australian Open title holder or $1.1 million as a runner-up.
She will receive $669,000 as a semifinalist, added to an already fat pocket.
A Forbes report revealed Gauff's net worth to be $21.7 million in 2023 to become that year's third highest-paid female athlete.

Only $6.7 million of this came from the prize money she received as a tennis professional, while the rest came from endorsements.
Her U.S. Open 2023 win earned her $3 million.
She has been playing tennis since she was 12. She is a former world no. 1 in the juniors division.
Her professional debut was at 14 at the ITF Women's Circuit in May 2018.
She impressed as a very young professional. She earned incredible fame in her first four matches at the Wimbledon Open. Her first four matches were the most-watched on ESPN.
She was becoming more bankable for the media. True enough, she has higher earnings as an endorser than as a pro tennis player.
Gauff earned $16 million by partnering with brands like Baker Tilly, Bose, Rolex, Barilla, and UPS.
Her major partner is New Balance, with whom she has her line of shoes and clothes.
She also collaborates with global audio equipment manufacturer Bose.
Coco Gauff Wealth
Gauff is admittedly unsure of what to do with her wealth right now. At 19, she said she still has no idea what to do with her money, although she is thinking of venturing into a fashion line or jewelry business.
"I don't like to spend money," Gauff said on the Tennis.com podcast. "When I had my first Grand Slam check, I wanted a car, but my dad had already bought it and, I don't know what to buy now."
She said she is not materialistic, and when asked how she will spend her money, she said she will buy a burger.
What she is sure of, though, was that her staff and trainers would be rewarded.
