Indiana Pacers big man Pascal Siakam is one of the league's most talented and versatile players.

The Toronto Raptors drafted the 29-year-old Cameroonian power forward with the 27th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, and he spent the first seven and a half seasons of his career with the Canadian team.

Siakam helped the franchise capture the 2019 NBA Championship, and he assumed a leading role for the team following the departure of star Kawhi Leonard in free agency that same year.

Since then, the former New Mexico State Aggies player has consistently delivered outstanding performances, earning spots on two All-NBA teams and making two appearances in the NBA All-Star Game.

During the middle of the 2023-24 NBA season, Siakam was dealt to the Indiana Pacers in a three-team trade in exchange for Kira Lewis Jr., Jordan Nwora, Bruce Brown, and three first-round draft picks.

Pascal Siakam Contract: $130 million

Following his pivotal role in securing the 2019 NBA Championship for the Raptors, Siakam signed a four-year contract extension with the team valued at $130 million in the summer of 2019.

This deal was scheduled to be in effect from the 2020-21 season through the 2023-24 season, providing him with an average annual salary of $34 million.

Before securing his current contract, Siakam was operating under a rookie scale deal from 2016-17 to 2019-20, which amounted to $6.4 million for the initial four seasons of his career. This arrangement translated to an average annual salary of $1.6 million during that period.

Potential Pascal Siakam contract in free agency

With free agency on the horizon, the two-time NBA All-Star reportedly seeks a max contract this summer, opening the possibility for even more substantial earnings.

As per ESPN Front Office insider Bobby Marks, Siakam can sign a 2-year, $81.5 million extension with the Indiana Pacers until June 30, worth $40.75 million annually.

If the 2019 NBA Most Improved Player opts not to pursue this extension, the Pacers will gain his bird rights, allowing them to offer a five-year contract worth $247 million when free agency commences in July, worth about $49.4 million per year.

It's worth noting that Siakam is no longer eligible for the supermax contract since he was traded from his original team.

Pascal Siakam Career Earnings

By the conclusion of the 2023-24 NBA season, Siakam is anticipated to have accumulated $143.1 million solely from his NBA salary during his eight seasons in the league, as reported by Spotrac.

This computation does not consider potential earnings from off-court endeavors such as endorsements and partnerships.

Moreover, the specified amount does not factor in deductions like taxes, agent fees, or other business-related expenses.

If it comes to fruition, his projected next contract will double his current career earnings in a shorter time.

Pascal Siakam Salary 2023-24

In the ongoing 2023-24 NBA season, which marks the last year of his current contract, Siakam is slated to receive $37.8 million, securing his position as the highest-paid player on both the Indiana Pacers and formerly the Toronto Raptors' roster for the season, as per HoopsHype data.

This signifies a slight uptick in salary compared to the 2022-23 season, when he earned $35.4 million.
