The Capital One Orange Bowl is set to kick off this weekend and will feature a matchup between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida State Seminoles at the Hard Rock Cafe in Miami, Florida.

This highly anticipated matchup between these college football heavyweights will feature two teams left out of the College Football Playoffs despite being strong contenders for the National Title.

The Florida Seminoles made history last season by being the first undefeated Power 5 team to not make it to the College Football Playoffs coming into Saturday's game. The Florida team will be without Quarterback Jordan Travis, who suffered a season ending leg injury. The Seminoles will look to Tate Rodemaker to take over the quarterbacking duties.

The two-time defending NCAA Champion Georgia Bulldog's astounding 29-game winning streak was broken this season in a game against the Alabama Crimson Tide; dropping Georgia out of the top four in the College football Playoff race.

Orange Bowl Preview: Georgia Bulldogs and Florida State Seminoles Keys to Victory

After nearly getting the Bulldogs back into CFP, quarterback Carson Beck will have a challenging task against the Seminoles, whose defense has gone nine games straight without giving up more than 20 points.

Beck has gone 4-1 when going up against AP top 20 opponents in those games played in. He completed 74.1% of his passes, threw for 14 touchdowns, and two interceptions through those five games.

If the Bulldogs hope to win, Beck needs to continue his strong play by not committing turnovers and getting the ball out quick against Florida State's elite defense, who has gotten 45 sacks on the season.

Even though they will be without running back Lawerance Toafili, who has undergone season ending surgery; Florida State getting their deadly rushing game going against the Bulldogs will be crucial. The Seminoles will depend on their other running back Trey Benson, who has been a major player in their offense since quarterback Jordan Travis's injury.

Benson led the team in scrimmage yards at 1,132 and had a monster performance against Louisville in the ACC Championship game with 118 yards and a touchdown on ten carries.

Florida State's defense also holds a significant key coming into Saturday's game. If the Seminoles can get after Beck and make him uncomfortable in the pocket early, then the game becomes easier for the Seminoles to get the win.
