The Golden State Warriors have yet to reach their top form this season owing to some injuries and suspensions of key players.

They will have to wait a little longer to get to full force as Point God Chris Paul is out again due to a lower left leg nerve contusion.

The 38-year-old was injured during the In-Season tournament game against the Sacramento Kings.

The team said CP3 is day-to-day and is sure to miss the game against the equally hungry Los Angeles Clippers.

CP3 has missed games before, but this setback he is going through is worse than what he went through when he was still with other teams.

The 12-time All-Star typically gets restricted come playoff time.

Here is CP3's most significant injury history since coming to the NBA in 2005:

1. Sprained ankle, New Orleans Hornets (March 2007)

Fresh off his Rookie of the Year season, Paul played just 64 games in the 2006-2007 season, his sophomore year, after suffering a sprained ankle that kept him out for one month, leading to the summer camp for Team USA.

The New Orleans Hornets did not make the playoffs that time.

2. Knee injury, Hornets (February 2010)

Paul getting injured in the 2nd half of the season became a recurring theme starting in 2010 when he went down with a meniscus tear, which many medical experts feared could derail his career, just like how the same injury hampered the potential of Chris Webber and Penny Hardaway.

He eventually recovered and played career seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers when he was traded there two seasons later.

3. Separated shoulder, Clippers (January, 2014)

Lob City became a social media sensation when CP3, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan formed an exciting trio. However, what stopped them from flying was the injury to Paul's shoulder that kept him out for five weeks.

He managed to come back in time for the playoffs and helped his team to a second-round finish.

4. Hamstring injury, Clippers (2015)

The Clippers again had to deal with injury to CP3 as he missed the first two games against the Houston Rockets due to hamstring injury. He returned and averaged 21 ppg, but the Clippers eventually bowed out.

5. Broken hand, Clippers (2016)

The higher-seeded Clippers bowed out against the Portland Trailblazers as CP3 failed to be with them all the way because of a broken hand.

6. Bruised knee, Clippers (2017)

Paul missed the first 21 games for the Clippers, but they still finished with a home-court advantage after the regular season. They played the Utah Jazz in the first round and lost, with CP3 recording his highest scoring average in the playoffs.

7. Hamstring injury, Rockets (2018)

James Harden found the perfect partner in CP3 to answer the Golden State Warriors, but the Point God again went down with a hamstring injury, making him miss Game 6 and Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals. The more painful part was that they were already up 3-2 against the defending champs.

8. Shoulder contusion, Suns (2021)

CP3 again had to sit out some playoff games, this time with the Phoenix Suns. His shoulder contusion came back in the first round of the Western Conference against the Los Angeles Lakers.

He returned, won the series, and eventually reached the NBA finals, only to lose to the Milwaukee Bucks.
