Several NBA legends and other sports personalities rave about Caitlin Clark for her historic NCAA Women's Basketball run.
At 21, she is already a brand of her own.
Lebron James thought she was a cold assassin on the court for her shooting, while Magic Johnson found her to be an exceptional athlete because of the records she had broken.
But how good is Caitlin Clark?
She is the show in the NCAA. Although her school, Iowa State, lost to Angel Reese's LSU Tigers, the build-up to that finals game tells a lot about her legend.
Tickets for women's Final Four were at one point pricier than Men's Final Four in resale sites.
Caitlin Clark is what most came for, and she never disappoints. Throughout her senior career, she broke many records that will live on for quite an extended period.
Records that have Caitlin Clark's name:
Records from the title game
The April 2023 title game against the Tigers alone saw Clark reach new heights and set new standards for women's basketball.
She broke the two-decade record set by Sheryl Swoopes (177) for the highest total points in a single tournament by recording 191 points.
At the same time, she helped lead Iowa to its first Final Four since 1993.
She credited her run to the team's effort to reach far in the tourney.
"It certainly helps breaking a record, you know, when you get to play the maximum amount of games in a season," Clark said. "And that's what I'm proud of is this group, you know, we got to play the entire time."
Most three in a national championship
Clark is a hot streak shooter, and she could be the Splash sister with her eight threes made during the title game. That is the most by a player in a single game since the six threes made by Katy Steding for Standord in 1990.
Only 40-point triple-double in NCAA
Scoring 40 points is a feat. Scoring 40 points while grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 10 assists is legendary.
Clark is the only player to record a 40-point triple-double in an NCAA tournament - whether in the Men's or Women's category.
Back-to-back 40 points
She scored 41 points against Louisville in the Elite 8 to send her team to the Final Four. Then she followed it up with another 41-point output against Louisville to reach the Finals.
This was the first ever back-to-back 40-point games in the tournament history. She came up big in the games that they almost lost. Her Iowa head coach, Lisa Bluder, explained that Clark's mentality in big games is above anyone.
"It's her mentality. I think that's what's so special. She believes in herself. She believes in her teammates. She's so confident, but she's put the work in to deserve to have that confidence."
Iowa's All-Time leading scorer
Clark has everybody reeling over his records, but she is not yet done. By the end of the 2023-2024 season, she will probably get herself separated from other players by a long mile.
In the young NCAA season, she became Iowa's all-time leader in scoring after 24 points in a win against Northern Iowa.
She also recorded 10 rebounds and 11 assists to become the only player in NCAA I to record a triple-double in four seasons.
