The Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets face off on Monday, November 20, at the Chase Center in a battle of two teams hoping to get back on the winning track.

The Warriors vs. Rockets game should be interesting. In their first encounter this 2023-24 season last October 29, the Dubs won 106-95. The Warriors' Stephen Curry led the way in that win with 24 points, including four three-pointers. Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins chipped in 19 and 13 points, respectively, via NBA.com.

Jalen Green had 21 points, and Alperen Sengun added 19 for the Rockets, who fell to 0-3 then. But things have taken a different turn for Houston, who is now 6-4.

Against a team that will be missing Draymond Green, who is serving his 5-game suspension for his unsportsmanlike behavior on Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Warriors' coach Steve Kerr will need to turn to other players such as Chris Paul, Kevon Looney, and Dario Saric to step up.

Warriors vs. Rocket Odds

Despite Green being out, the Warriors remain the odds-on-favorites to win over the Rockets. The Dubs are 7-point spread favorites to prevail over the Rockets in this November 20 game.

The Moneyline for the Warriors vs. Rockets matchup is -275 for Golden State and +220 for Houston per OddsSharks.com.

Warriors vs. Rockets Preview

The Warriors are on a 6-game losing skid and will be working to end that against the Rockets on Monday. They dropped back-to-back games against the Oklahoma City Thunder (128-109 and 130-123 (OT)).

Green will remain unavailable as he serves his third game of the league's five-game suspension.

Andrew Wiggins stepped up in the overtime loss to the Thunder with 31 points, while Curry and Thompson chipped in 25 and 16 points, respectively. Despite five players finishing with 12 points or more, it was not enough against OKC, per ESPN.

On the other side, the Rockets may be at a disadvantage since they will be playing back-to-back games. As of this writing, they face a powerhouse Los Angeles Lakers team where they are 5.5-point spread underdogs per USA Today.

Before the Lakers, the Rockets bowed to another Los Angeles team, the Clippers, 100-106, on Friday, November 17.

Alperen Sengun led the way in that loss with 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jalen Green added 20 markers, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds in that loss.

Warriors vs. Rockets Pick

Even without Green, the Warriors should snap their six-game losing streak against the Rockets. That is unless the Dubs suddenly have a bad game, such as seeing one of their top guns (Curry and/or Thompson) misfiring.

Houston has players who can turn the game around, such as Sengun, Green, and Fred VanVleet. Dillon Brooks could also explode on offense, although head coach Ime Udoka will likely want him to play more defense.
