Los Angeles Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue has confirmed the playing time of new acquisition James Harden in his anticipated season debut.
The 2016 NBA championship mentor said that the 2018 NBA Most Valuable Player will be playing with a minutes restriction in his first game in a Clippers uniform, although he noted that the limitation won't be overly strict.
The 34-year-old has already been ramping up his conditioning during the past few days to get into game shape and be ready to help the Clippers contend for a championship.
Harden also recently underwent his official first photoshoot wearing the Clippers' uniforms, opting to wear the jersey number 1, which he also wore during his last stint with the Philadelphia 76ers.
