Rangers Injury Report: Adolis Garcia's Health Status Gets Troubling Update

The World Series has been fun so far until several players went down due to injuries.

Texas Rangers will have to face Arizona Diamondbacks without Adolis Garcia and Max Scherzer after the duo was forced out of Game 3 due to various injuries.

Rangers won the game to take a 2-1 lead in their seven-game affair.

Scherzer was the first to head to the dugout after suffering a back tightness in the third inning. Garcia followed in the eighth inning after contracting left-side tightness.

Mad Max is confirmed to be out for Game 4 and will need up to 72 hours for further evaluation.

On the other hand, Garcia's absence in Game 4 is confirmed today, which manager Bruce Bochy said is "not great news."

This will be the first time the Texas team will not feature Garcia in its starting lineup. He was splendid during their American League Conference Series with the Houston Astros.

"Sure it's not great news, you hate to lose your cleanup hitter, but it happened and the only thing you can do is handle it the right way," Bochy said.

Rangers will soon have to decide on Garcia and Scherzer's roster status.

Potential great World Series ruined?

Garcia and Scherzer are key pieces in Rangers' title run, and fans can't help but feel devastated by the news of the uncertainty of their return.

Even D-Backs fans think this news dampened what could be a great showdown between the two clubs.
